February 8 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
THIS EVENT IS CANCELLED AND WILL BE RESCHEDULED IN MARCH 2019.
A Night of Food and Song harnesses the beautiful traditions of the Jewish Sabbath ritual feast to bring joy and rest to those facing the challenges of mental illness. The traditions of enjoying great food and joyful group singing are shared by Rabbi Dov Gartenberg and the Heart of Shabbat Ensemble. This is a wonderful event for those looking for a rich spiritual and relaxing experience that helps us connect one to the other. All backgrounds are welcome.
A Night of Food and Song is a special program designed to give comfort and respite for those living with mental illness and those caring for a loved one with mental illness. This is a program initiated by the Eastside Affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness in coordination with Panim Hadashot. (www.panimhadashot.org.)
