Last-Night Passover Seudah/Break-the-Chametz Fast, N. Seattle
April 27 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pmFree
Saturday, April 27, 7:30 to 9:30 PM Host, Shoshana Billik in North Seattle (Address provided after RSVP). Come join our host, Shoshana Billik and Panim Hadashot as we bid farewell to Passover with a last-night Seudah. In Chassidic circles, the last night of Passover is the time that is most closely associated with hopes for the coming of the Moshiach (the Messiah), and the final meal of Passover is known as Moshiach’s Seudah, or the Feast of Moshiach. For our Seudah, we’ll discuss our hopes for what the world and our beliefs or skepticism about a Messianic age as we enjoy kosher-for-Passover snacks, then we’ll break the chametz fast after 9 PM with pizza. Rabbi Dov will facilitate and share teachings in Judaism about the Messiah.
We'll culminate with Rabbi Dov's vintage flaming Havdallah experience! If you haven’t seen it before, it’s reason enough to come just for this! Please bring cash to chip in for the pizza, as well as for a donation to Panim Hadashot. Hope to see you there!
There is room for 2-4 more persons as of 4/18/19. This is an adult oriented event. To attend and receive the address, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with your phone prior to Friday, 4/26.
