Community Havdallah and Singing Circle

March 9 @ 5:00 am - 7:30 pm

About this Monthly Recurring Event

We bring people together through Shabbat Hospitality to celebrate the end of Shabbat ritual, Havdallah, with food, song, and story. Experience the magic of the torch candle, the spices, and the wine along with some of the most exquisite Jewish music provided by the Heart of Shabbat Ensemble.  We always hold our Havdallahs in Seattle (our Community Shabbat Gatherings on Fridays in Bellevue).

Our Havdallahs are free, open to the public, and kid friendly. We welcome Jews from both secular and more traditional backgrounds. We also extend an invitation to people from other faiths and cultures who would like to share in an authentic experience of the joy of the Jewish Sabbath.  Our meal is a vegetarian and pareve potluck.

*Logistics: We are currently holding the Havdallahs in the Jasper Apartment Community Room in Northeast Seattle.  The Jasper has ample street parking, accessibility to public transportation, and full disability access. An RSVP is required to attend.
