Rabbi Gartenberg is on vacation. Slow Reading Torah Study and Wine Stains and Blessings will resume on May 12th.
Community Musical Shabbat Table, Hosted by Panim Hadashot-New Faces
April 20 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm
Imagine a room of tables full of friendly and interesting people, enjoying a delectable Shabbat feast punctuated with our singing beautiful Jewish and Sabbath music accompanied by the skilled musicianship of jazz musicians. If you are in the mood for a spiritual, enlivening, joyful, engaging, and memorable Shabbat experience, you will not want to miss the Community Musical Shabbat Table (MUST) hosted by Panim Hadashot-New Faces.
The Musical Shabbat Table is led by our Heart of Shabbat Ensemble which brings Jewish music from communities around the world. Because Rabbi Gartenberg is on vacation with his wife, board member, Anna Boiko-Weyrauch, will be leading the Shabbat table rituals and will be mistress of ceremonies.
As part of this unique Shabbat experience we will enjoy a “Shabbatluck” feast in which everyone is invited to contribute a dairy, vegan, or fish dish. This will be a family friendly event with childcare provided. Please select your dish and sign up for childcare (if applicable).
