Community Shabbat Gatherings
We hold on every third weekend of the month a Community Shabbat Gathering. Most Community Shabbat Gatherings are our signature “Musical Shabbat Table”, a Friday night “Shabbatluck” feast with group singing led by the Heart of Shabbat Ensemble. The Shabbat meal is punctuated by live music and singing of Shabbat songs, Niggunim, and other songs from the Jewish songbook. It is an event filled with joy and enthralling music. We always offer childcare. These are always free to attend.
On occasion we host a guest speaker instead of the ensemble. Or we may hold the event on Saturday night to experience a Shabbat ending feast and Havdallah. The best way to keep informed about these monthly community gatherings is to sign up for our monthly newsletter.
