Helping Jewish Communities Thrive

Panim Hadashot-New Faces Community Consultations

Panim Hadashot-New Faces is committed to helping Jewish Communities thrive by assisting Jewish communal leaders to build a strong Shabbat hospitality culture among their members.  We specialize in working with communities to create distinct and beautiful gatherings that emphasize Jewish hospitality practices, community singing, and intimate settings around Sabbath meals.  Our Heart of Shabbat Ensemble is mining Jewish music of the home and revitalizing the practice of table singing among liberal and cultural Jews.

In February 2017 Panim Hadashot received an Ignition Grant from the Jewish Federation to bring the Heart of Shabbat Ensemble to underserved communities.  The Heart of Shabbat Ensemble has led services at the Summit on First Hill, the Port Townsend Jewish Community, an Alpha Supported Living Group Home, and other groups.  The picture above is the June 30, 1967 Kabbalat Shabbat service the Heart of Shabbat Ensemble led at the Summit of First Hill.  We brought new music and new energy to their weekly liberal service.
