Erev Shavuot with Rabbi Gartenberg

Sunday, May 28th:  This event has been cancelled due to not enough signup. Rabbi Gartenberg will teach the study session at Congregation Beth Shalom at 2:00am on Wednesday morning as part of their Shavuot Tikkun.  

A Dairy Festival Feast with Rabbi Dov Gartenberg followed by a Shavuot Learning Session.

10:15 to 11:15pm Rabbi Gartenberg Study Session on Ruth and the Origins of Jewish Hospitality.

Not recommended for young children.  You can bring a dish by making an RSVP.

Join Rabbi Gartenberg at his home for a Erev Shavuot dairy feast.  Rabbi Gartenberg will talk about the meaning of the Shavuot festival, the origin of its practices, and some of its enduring teachings. Following dinner Rabbi Gartenberg will give a teaching on  The Book of Ruth and the Origins of Jewish Hospitality.  The Book of Ruth, one of the most beautiful and moving accounts in the Bible,  is read on Shavuot.
