Homo Deus: A Brief History of Tomorrow

We discuss nonfiction books that explore topics such as climate change, democracy under stress, transhumanism, and pluralism in a time of nationalism. Part of the discussion includes the question of the impact on Judaism of these emerging realities and poses the question of the adaptability of the tradition and our own lives in the face of radical social and natural change.   Rabbi Dov Gartenberg, an avid reader himself, will facilitate group discussions. If you are interested in participating in the group, please contact Rabbi Gartenberg at 206 257-1996 or at dov@panimhadashot.org
